More Accurate Box Folding with Inconsistent Creasing and Cutting

Inconsistent Creasing and Inconsistent Cutting technologies have been developed to improve production accuracy and achieve higher-quality folding of corrugated packaging.

The process is based on intentionally offsetting the creasing lines and adjusting the lengths of individual box flaps according to the packaging design. As a result, the flaps are not always cut to exactly the same length. This solution compensates for the thickness and overlapping layers of corrugated board during folding.

The flaps therefore fit together more accurately, the box maintains its intended shape more effectively, and the bottom remains flatter and more stable. The technologies are suitable for standard corrugated board as well as thicker multi-wall materials.
