UK-based bespoke corrugated packaging manufacturer ASC Direct has expanded its production capacity and now operates three AOPACK box making machines at its facility. Following the successful operation of its BM2508-Plus, installed in 2020, the company added a BM2508-Pro and a BM1800-Mini, both commissioned by GTS Europe in March 2026.
Specializing in short-run custom corrugated packaging, ASC Direct produces predominantly small order quantities, with more than 90% of jobs consisting of fewer than 100 boxes. The three AOPACK machines enable the company to flexibly allocate production according to board size and workload, increasing productivity while reducing lead times.
The BM2508-Pro and BM1800-Mini are equipped with cold gluing and QR code scanning, while the BM2508-Pro also features glue flap crushing. Together, the machines provide fast, tool-free production of a wide variety of corrugated box styles.
The investment reflects ASC Direct's confidence in AOPACK technology and demonstrates how a single box making machine can grow into a highly efficient multi-machine production system.
